Love, Lies, and Murder Movie (true story)

The movie Love, Lies, and Murder debuted on CBS in 1991. It was advertised as a movie based on a true story. The movie is based on the murder of Linda Bailey Brown. Linda Brown was murdered by her own step daughter, a plot devised by her husband David Arnold Brown and her own sister Patti Bailey. The murder actually happened in 1985. But, it was not until a few years later...after Cinnamon Brown's confession about her father's involvement, did the case make national headlines. The media and tabloid newspapers went crazy over this case. No one could believe that a man, a father, had actually convinced his own daughter to commit murder and to then take the fall for him. You can read over the case load below. Lots of good links there to read. There is even a book about the case.
